Overview
The establishment of ESHs is part of efforts under the Enabling Masterplan 2030 and takes a regional approach to bring community support services closer to the homes of persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
The ESHs offer:
- Social activities and learning courses for persons with disabilities
- Befriending and caregiver support services
- Outreach and referral to support services
The first ESH has been set up in Tampines by SG Enable, in partnership with SPD. The ESH@Tampines serves persons with disabilities in Tampines and Bedok, as well as their caregivers.
SG Enable will launch two more ESHs at Jurong West and Punggol in 2025. These new ESHs will serve persons with disabilities in Jurong West and Punggol, Hougang, Sengkang and Serangoon towns.
