Rhythmic Connections (RC) is 6 to 7 week group journey nurturing and empowering teens of all abilities, including neurodiverse individuals, to grow with courage, creativity and connection. Safe for teens with ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, OCD, Speech Delays, Intellectual disabilities and Dyspraxia.

Through yoga, mindfulness and the creative arts, our sessions support participants to:

✔ Explore mindful & joyful movement, breathing exercises and restorative poses
✔ Practice communication and social skills with peers (make new friends outside school setting!)
✔ Build body and breath awareness
✔ Emotional regulation: Connect, feel, express our emotions
✔ Expand emotional literacy
✔ Cultivate compassion & self-acceptance of all parts
✔ Deepen connection and understanding of oneself and our peers

  • Each term, we explore a different core theme with the intention of drawing out the wisdom from the students’ own experience and relation to the theme.
  • While our programme offers a therapeutic experience, the essence of Rhythmic Connections is community — to be received, listened to and held as you are.
